 Berkut is a special reaction force of Ukrainian police within the Internal Ministry. It is the national successor of the Soviet OMON, responsible for high-risk police operations including hostage crises and riots. Berkut teams participated in many actions of Leonid Kuchma's regime against the opposition. As a Word-know expert in close combat, Dr A. Bryl was invited to Berkut Headquarters in Dniepropietrowsk for 3 day visitation |

E.S.A. instructors conducted Close Protection training designed for Presidential Service Unit and Security personnel working in East African countries such as Somalia or Southern Sudan
The main idea was to pick and adapt different techniques, procedures and security formations of Close Protection to High Risk environment. Besides the topics involving Close Protection, there was also a presentation of Combat system BAS-3 made by dr. Andrew Bryl.

ESA trainings are gradualny getting more intense – and in the June’s SESSION #3 its been a dizzy rush! All because of the SESSION’s first part, namely SECURITY DRIVING. 
We were very plased to host a group from Belgium, that completed a closed profile training in our training center between 3rd and 9th April 2010..
We’ve officially opened the season! The first training session in 2010 at European Security Academy has been completed. We’ve started this year’s cycle with two courses: PRIVATE MILITARY CONTRACTOR and TACTICAL PISTOL ADVANCED. From now on, each month, we will be organizing various training courses dedicated to security. As soon as in April, we will be hosting group from Belgium, that will be participating in five-day closed-door training.
